These don't need full STAR stories but should have a short structured answer:

"Why are you leaving RHS?" "RHS has been a great place to consolidate hybrid cloud and security work. I'm at a point where I want to focus more deeply on production reliability and incident response with on-call rotation as core parts of the role rather than peripheral. RHS is a stable team but doesn't operate at the scale or 24x7 pattern I'd find at a place like [company]."

"What's your biggest weakness?" Be honest, but choose a real one with a real mitigation. Example: "I tend to dive into the technical details before stepping back to communicate clearly with stakeholders. I've been deliberately working on this by structuring my updates: what's happening, what I'm doing, what I need from the listener. It's improved a lot but it's still where I focus my attention."

"Why this company?" Have one specific thing about the company. Not generic praise. Reference something from their site, JD, or a recruiter conversation.

"Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years?" "Senior SRE or staff-level platform engineer, with deep expertise in production reliability of large-scale systems. I'd want to be the person teams come to when something's gone wrong, and equally the person building the systems that prevent the next class of failure. Continuing to contribute to the community side — speaking, mentoring — alongside that."
